I made this song up to add a tickle to the bedtime routine. I would kiss my kids all over with my hands making the kissing sound, with them wiggling under the covers. So much fun. My second baby really loved to go to sleep laughing, so many of the songs, including this one got shifted into fart songs when he turned 7.

Like many of the songs, I include a part of the song telling them exactly what I want them to do…sleep tight sleepy head, time is now to rest….etc. I found saying the words really helped them to know what was happening and what we were doing, and what I wanted them to do.

This was a favourite, often requested by both of my kids. I almost forgot about it until my 13 year old (at the time of recording) reminded me of the song!! So happy they did.
